Men's Cross Country finishes third of 14 at Otterbein Invitational

WESTERVILLE — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team finished third of 14 teams at the Otterbein Invitational on Saturday morning.
The Basics

- Junior Ryan Montross (Perrysburg) led the Polar Bears across the finish line in a career-best 26:21, finishing ninth of 82 runners.
- Senior Jacob Clouse (Alvada) finished 21st in 26:53.
- Junior Oliver Hendricks (Vandalia/Butler) was 24th in 27:04.
- Sophomore Brycen Lantz (Attica/Seneca East) was 28th in 27:14.
- Senior Ethan Kemp (Mount Gilead) was 35th in 27:24.
Notables
- This was the second of five regular season meets prior to the OAC Championships on Nov. 1 at Otterbein.
- Ohio Northern was third of the eight participating OAC schools.
- 17th-year head coach Jason Maus is now 1,624-428 as head coach of the ONU men's cross country program and is the winningest coach in program history.
