Men's Cross Country selected to finish second in OAC preseason coaches poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's cross country team was picked to finish second in the Ohio Athletic Conference preseason poll, voted on by the leagues ten head coaches.
Northern welcomes back five letterwinners to the team, all of which are All-OAC honorees.
ONU is coming off of one of its most successful seasons in school history where it posted a 114-20 record and finished 14th as a team at the NCAA III Championships.
The Polar Bears were edged is the poll by Mount Union, as the Purple Raiders collected 74 points and five first place votes, while Northern collected 72 points in the poll and the remaining five first place votes.
Otterbein finished third in the poll with 63 points.
Ohio Northern opens the season on Sept. 1 as it travels to Bluffton to compete in the annual Bluffton 5k Invitational.
