Junior Cully Gordon named OAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ADA — Junior Cully Gordon was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for his efforts at the Calvin (Mich.) Invitational Saturday.

Gordon led the Polar Bears across the finish line, finishing with a career-best time of 25:27.8 and placing fifth overall. 

The junior earns his first OAC Runner of the Week honor.

The Polar Bears (31-1) finished second of 29 teams with 59 points, No. 16-ranked Calvin (Mich.) won the event with 57 points and Allegheny (Pa.) took third place with 66 points.

The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday as they travel to Rochester (N.Y.) for the Rochester Invitational.
