Boothby breaks his own 100 record as Men's Outdoor Track and Field competes at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet

ALLIANCE - Junior C.J. Boothby (Milford/Clermont Northeastern) has broken another Ohio Northern record, taking 2nd in the 100m dash as Men's outdoor track & field competes at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet.

The Basics

• Record: Ohio Northern (39-14 Overall).
• The meet consisted of athletes from 39 programs across all NCAA and NAIA divisions.
• Venue: Kehres Stadium - Alliance, Ohio.

ONU Individuals

• Boothby broke his own ONU record, taking 2nd in the 100 in 10.42.
• Junior Oliver Hendricks (Vandalia/Butler) was 3rd in the 800 in 1:58.12.
• Senior Connor Robbins (Marion/River Valley) took 5th in the shot put, throwing 14.46 meters, 6th in the hammer throw, heaving 46.10 meters, 8th in the discus at 43.32 meters, and 8th in the javelin, launching 44.26 meters.
• Senior Evan Gomez (Farmington, N.M.) placed 6th in the shot put at 14.33 meters, and was 6th in the discus, launching 44.72 meters.

Notables

• The meet consisted of 19 events - 8 field events, 9 running events, and 2 relays.
• Head Coach Jason Maus is in his 17th year at Ohio Northern and is 618-175-3 in men's indoor track and field for a winning percentage of .775. He is ONU's all-time winningest coach in track and field history.
