12 named All-Great Lakes Region in Men's Indoor Track and Field by USTFCCCA for 2025-26

ADA — 12 Polar Bears were named All-Great Lakes Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in men's indoor track and field for the 2025-26 season.
The top eight individuals in each event and each of the members of a top-eight ranked relay team from each region earned All-Region honors.
Junior C.J. Boothby (Milford/Clermont Northeastern) was named All-Region in the 60 meter dash and the long jump.
Boothby ranks first in the region in the 60 with a time of 6.75 and ranks 7th in the long jump with a jump of 7.07 meters.
Ohio Northern's 4x400 relay team of senior Zach O'Neill (Holland/Maumee Valley Country Day), junior Grant Conn (Medina/Buckeye Senior), sophomore Asu Pelima (Euclid/Villa Angela-Saint Joseph) and Cale Wilson (Clarksville/Clinton-Massie) earned All-Region honors. They are ranked eight in the region with a time of 3:19.96.
Wilson also earned All-Region accolades in the triple jump with a leap of 14.25 meters to put him at 5th in the region rankings.
Pelima, juniors Vova Herdman (Seville/Cloverleaf) and Oliver Hendricks (Vandalia/Butler) and freshman Elliot Gilbert (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) were named All-Region in the distance medley relay. They posted a time of 10:10.40, making them 6th in the region.
Senior Evan Gomez (Farmington, N.M.) is ranked 10th in the weight throw with a toss of 17.14 meters.
Junior Jacob Wakefield (Wooster/Northwestern) is ranked 5th in the high jump with a jump of 2.00 meters.
Freshmen Brandon Hogg (Frederickstown) and Elijah Thompson (South Vienna/Northeastern) both earned All-Region accolades in the pole vault.
Hogg is ranked 4th in the region at 4.76 meters and Thompson is ranked 6th at 4.66 meters.
Boothby qualified in the 60 for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday at the Birmingham SportsPlex in Brimingham, Ala.
