Freshman Brandon Hogg named OAC Men's Field Athlete of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Brandon Hogg (Frederickstown) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 9-15.

The recognition comes after winning the pole valut by clearing 4.76 meters at the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday.

His vault ranks him 6th all-time in ONU history in the event.

This is Hogg's first career Athlete of the Week accolade.

The Polar Bears (36-5 Overall) return to action on Saturday when they travel to the Wittenberg Invitational.
