Senior Keegan Digby named OAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Keegan Digby (Bowling Green/Otsego) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 27 to Dec. 3.

He shared this week's honor with Baldwin Wallace's Christian Pfeiffer.

This marks the ninth such honor of Digby's career and first this season.

The recognition comes after Digby posted a mark of 17.11 meters to win the shot put at the Findlay Oiler Opener on Friday, falling just short of his school-record mark of 17.13 meters. He also tied for eighth in the weight throw with a mark of 14.97 meters.

Digby, a two-time OAC champion in the indoor shot put and an All-American in the event last season, is currently tied for second nationally in NCAA Division III the shot put.

The Polar Bears return to action on Jan. 19, when they host the fifth annual Larry Cole Invitational at 5 p.m.
