Sunday's Meet: The Ohio Northern men's track and field team will open its 2021 outdoor season on Sunday with the Marietta OAC Opener meet at Don Drumm Stadium ... All 10 OAC schools are slated to compete with running and field events starting at 10 am ...The Polar Bears have not competed outdoors since the NCAA III Championships May 25, 2019 - a span of 662 days ... Senior Sam Krabacher and junior Andrew Buderer won titles to lead Ohio Northern to a third place finish in the Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 6 at Otetrbein ... Junior Nate Dean earned All-Conference honors in three events, including a record-setting performance in the 60 ... In the 60, he broke Josh Colbert's school record by .01 of a second with a :07.94 clocking to finish third. He also had a second-place finish in the 200 in 22.19 and was part of ONU's 4x400 relay team that finished third. He is now a 6-time All-Conference award winner ... Sophomore Billy Driemeyer finished in second in the 3000 in 8:35.75 to become an All-OAC honoree for the first time in his young career ... Junior Luke Shellhaas was named All-Conference in the pole vault with a third-place finish with a vault of 4.56 meters.
