Lucas Shumate named OAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week

ADA — Sophomore Lucas Shumate has been named OAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

On Saturday, at the Defiance Invitational, Shumate won the weight throw with a pitch of 16.25 meters and set a new personal record.

Ohio Northern won the Defiance Invitational scoring 142.5 points.

ONU will return to competition on Friday, when it takes place in the OAC Split Meet at Baldwin Wallace.
