Track & Field to open 2015 season at Northwest Ohio Meet

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's and women's track and field teams will open their 2015 campaigns at the Northwest Ohio Meet at the University of Findlay on Jan. 16.
ONU will then travel to Defiance to take part in the Defiance Invitational on Jan. 24, followed by a trip to Baldwin-Wallace for the OAC Split Meet on Jan. 30.
The Polar Bears return home on Feb. 7 for the Joe Banks Invitational.
Northern will travel to Westerville Feb. 14 to particapte in the All-Ohio meet and Capital Feb. 21 for a last call meet.
The OAC Indoor Championships are scheduled for Feb. 27-28 at Capital, with the NCAA III Indoor Championships taking place in Winston-Salem, N.C., Mar. 13-14.
Prior to the NCAA Championship the Polar Bears will host the Polar Bear last chance Apr. 18.
The outdoor season opens with the Washington & Lee (Va.) Carnival Mar. 20-21.
Ohio Northern will then travel to Cedarville Mar. 28 and Ohio Wesleyan Apr. 4. The All-Ohio Championships will be held at Delaware Apr. 11.
ONU returns home Apr. 18 for the Polar Bear Invitational.
The OAC Outdoor Championships will be hosted by Mount Union and will be Apr. 24 and Apr. 25.
The 2015 season draws to a close with the Keeler Invitational May 7-8, followed by the Gregory Invitational May 14-15.
The NCAA III Outdoor Championships are set for May 21-23 in Canton, N.Y..
In 2014 Maus led the men's program to a 2nd place finish at the OAC indoor meet and a 3rd place finish at the OAC outdoor meet. The team finished with its 24th straight winning season and 11th consecutive indoor winning season.
The women's team finished 6th at the OAC outdoor meet in 2014 and won the Joe Banks Invitational.
