Four track athletes make the cut for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this weekend

ADA — Four track athletes will represent Ohio Northern at the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships this week at Ohio Wesleyan in Delaware.
Senior Ryan Fleming (Maitland, Fla./Lyman) made the cut in the 100-meter dash after recording a provisional mark of 10.58 at the All-American Invitational at Adrian (Mich.) in early April.
He is seeded fifth for the preliminary race that will take place Friday, May 27 at 7:30 p.m.
Fleming will also join classmate Evan Heyman (Norwalk/Monroeville), junior Jacob Schwab (Willard/Monroeville) and freshmanFrancisque Pierre-Jerome (Lauderhill, Fla./South Plantation) as the 4x100 relay team that also qualified for the championships.
The squad, seeded ninth, will run the preliminary race Thursday at 6:15 p.m. and earned their provisional mark earlier less than two weeks ago at North Central's (Ill.) Dr. Keeler Invitational.
All final events will take place Saturday, May 28, as the 4x100 relay final is set for 1:30 p.m. and the 100 dash is set for 3 p.m.
