Men's Tennis wins doubles point in thrilling fashion before falling 4-1 at No. 5 Case Western Reserve in Second Round of NCAA III Tournament

CLEVELAND — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team won the doubles point in thrilling fashion before eventually falling 4-1 at No. 5-ranked Case Western Reserve in the Second Round of the NCAA III Tournament on Saturday at Cleveland State's on-campus indoor facility.

• Records: Ohio Northern (14-9 Overall), #5 Case Western Reserve (27-8 Overall).

• Northern won the doubles point to take an early 1-0 lead.
• Junior Tyler Wood (Toledo/St. John's) and freshman Dylan Catanese (Lexington) won 7-5 at No. 1 doubles, defeating the Spartans' No. 6-nationally ranked doubles team in the process.
• The deciding doubles match went to a tiebreaker, where sophomore Ethan Remy (Lexington) and freshman Aiden Yeager (Springfield/Northwestern) prevailied on their third match point at No. 3 doubles 7-6(9-7).
