CLEVELAND — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team fell 5-0 to Whitman (Wash.) in the First Round of the NCAA III Tournament on Friday morning.

The Basics

  • Junior T.J. Schultz (Grand Blanc, Mich.) and freshman Noah Boyce (Oakwood) were tied at 6-6 at No. 2 doubles when the match was abandoned.

  • Senior Sam Sran (Punjab, India/St. Stephens and Gian Jyoti Global) is 51-41 in singles, 28-37 in doubles and is 79-78 overall.
  • Third-year head coach Sean Swisher is 44-23 at the helm of the ONU men's tennis team, a winning percentage of .657.
