Saturday's Matches: The Ohio Northern men's tennis team is playing at home for the first time this season after opening with three straight road matches … ONU is set to host Franciscan at 2 p.m. before taking on Ohio Wesleyan at 5 p.m. … The Polar Bears are coming off of Sunday's victories of 6-3 at Hanover (Ind.) and 9-0 at Franklin (Ind.) … ONU got three wins from seniors Andrew Cochran and Zach Beaschler and freshmen Peyton Specht and Drew Swisher on the day … Against Franklin, senior Vinh Thai won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and combined with junior Matt Garcia to win 8-2 at No. 1 doubles … Specht leads the team in overall victories with a 5-0 record on the season … Ohio Wesleyan is off to an 0-2 start after falling 9-0 to both Cedarville and Otterbein … The Battling Bishops are led by seniors Ben Stein and Alex Riess and junior Jose Mancilla … Franciscan's lone match of the season thus far was a 5-4 home loss to Baldwin Wallace on Sept. 11 … The Barons are led by graduate student Aidan Howard, freshman Travis Mistry, sophomore Aidan Palladino and junior Josh Robbins.
