Sophomore Andrew Cochran named OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Andrew Cochran (Wooster) was named the OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of Mar. 1-8.

Cochran went 9-1 last week as the Polar Bears posted a 3-2 record during their spring break trip to Hilton Head Island, S.C.

He was 5-0 in singles play and 4-1 in doubles play for ONU (6-4 overall).

ONU was 3-0 against NCAA Division III teams and dropped matches to a NCAA Division II school and an NAIA school.

The Polar Bears will return to action Saturday when they play host to Adrian (Mich.) at 1 pm at Westwood Tennis and Fitness center in Lima.
