Freshman Hoang Do named Men's Tennis Ohio Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week

ADA — Freshman Hoang Do (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) has been named the Men's Tennis Ohio Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 26.

The freshman posted a perfect 4-0 record in singles play during the week and was 2-2 in doubles play at No. 1 doubles on his way to earning his first career OAC Athlete of the Week nod.

Do was perfect against Albion (Mich.), Franciscan and Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) at No. 2 singles and won at No. 3 singles in Northern's contest against Olivet (Mich.).

The freshman competed at No. 1 doubles in each of ONU's four contests and posted a solid 2-2 record to pace Northern.

ONU returns to the court on Monday, Mar. 5 as it begins its Spring Break trip in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina with a 9 a.m. matchup against Spring Arbor at the Evian Tennis Center.
