WILMINGTON — The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 159-83 victory at Wilmington on Friday night.

Meet Highlights

  • Senior Nathan Clark (Cleves/Elder) won three events to lead the Polar Bears.
  • He won the 100-meter free in :55.65 and the 50 fly in :26.68.
  • He also combined with senior Simon Bopple (Cleveland/Shaker Heights), sophomore Chase McCluskey (Pickerington/North) and senior Selby Wilt (Findlay) to win the 200 medley relay in 1:49.36.
  • Freshman Austin Peace (Eaton) won the 50 breast in :31.76 and the 100 breast in 1:09.50.
  • Wilt won the 50 free in :24.94.
  • McCluskey won the 100 fly in 1:00.89.
  • The 200-meter relay team of Wilt, senior Isaac Reddy (Maryland Heights, Mo./Pattonville), senior Aiden Magoolaghan (Hinckley/Highland) and McCluskey won in 1:38.78.

  • The meet consisted of 13 events, including 11 individual races and two relays.
  • Ohio Northern won six of the 11 individual races and both relays.
  • Austin Veltman is 39-20 in his seventh season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
