Horgan wins four events, leads Men's Swimming and Diving in tight 147-133 loss at Wooster in regular season finale

WOOSTER — Senior Brady Horgan (New Richmond/McNicholas) won four events as the Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team wrapped up its regular season with a tight 147-133 loss at Wooster on Saturday.

Meet Highlights
- Horgan won the 50 free in :21.91 and the 100 free in :48.91 and was part of both of ONU's winning relay teams.
- Junior Simon Bopple (Cleveland/Shaker Heights), junior Nathan Clark (Cleves/Elder), freshman Chase McCluskey (Pickerington/North) and Horgan won the 200 medley relay in 1:38.03.
- Senior Selby Wilt (Findlay), junior Isaac Reddy (Maryland Heights, Mo./Pattonville), junior Tyler Edmonds (Youngsville, La./Southside) and Horgan won the 200 free relay in 1:27.05.
- McCluskey won the 200 free in 1:47.12 and the 200 fly in :53.18 and was second in the 100 free in :48.94.
- Sophomore Nathan Herbert (Medina/Highland) won the 500 free in 4:57.28.
Notables
- The meet consisted of 16 events, including 12 individual races, two diving events and two relays.
- ONU won 7 of the 16 events on the afternoon.
- Austin Veltman is 36-20 in his seventh season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
