Nathan Clark named OAC Men’s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Nathan Clark (Cleves/Elder) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 17-23.

Clark earned the accolade coming off his three individual victories in the Polar Bears' season-opening 218-65 home win over Wilmington on Friday.

He won the 50-yard breast in :27.25, the 50-yard fly in :23.75 and the 100-yard IM in :55.97.

He won the 100-yard IM by a margin of nearly two seconds.

Clark was also part of the 200-yard medley relay team that finished in second place, just :00.23 seconds off the winning pace, behind another ONU team.

The Polar Bears return to the pool on Saturday at OAC foe John Carroll at 1 p.m.
