Foster, Locke, Zurmehly named to United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team in Men's Soccer

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Gage Foster (Mason), fifth-year senior Tanner Locke (Canton, Mich./Salem) and sophomore Carson Zurmehly (Batavia/McNicholas) were named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's All-Region VII Team.
Foster was named First Team, Locke was a Second Team selection and Zurmehly earned Third Team honors.
All three student-athletes are earning their first All-Region accolades.
Foster was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Year this season and is now a two-time All-Conference selection. He is also a two-time Academic All-OAC honoree.
This season, he had 14 points off three goals and a team-high eight assists.
Foster ends his career with 35 points off nine goals and 17 assists in 62 matches.
Locke was named First Team All-OAC this season and is a two-time Academic All-OAC honoree.
He had seven points off two goals and three assists on the season.
In his career, Locke has played in 72 matches with 66 starts and has 22 points off five goals and 12 assists.
Zurmehly started all 19 games in goal this season and had 51 saves for a save percentage of .797, a GAA of .680 and 10 shutouts.
He led the OAC in save percentage, GAA and shutouts and was named the OAC Defensive Player of the Week seven times this season.
In his career, Zurmehly has played in 26 mathces with 25 starts in goal and has 70 saves and 11 shutouts. Zurmehly is ranked tied for 7th all-time in ONU history in career shutouts and is tied for 5th all-time in single-season shutouts.
The Polar Bears had their first undefeated season in ONU history and won their 10th OAC Regular Season title with a 12-0-7 overall record and 6-0-2 OAC record under seventh-year head coach Chris Matejka.
