Sophomore Carson Zurmehly named OAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for second time this season

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Carson Zurmehly (Batavia/McNicholas) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 1-7.
This marks his third career OAC Player of the Week accolade and second this season.
The latest recognition comes after recording eight saves over two games this week.
He had six saves in a 2-1 win over Hope (Mich.) on Friday and two saves in a 0-0 draw with Albion (Mich.) on Saturday.
Zurmehly now has 33 career saves.
The No. 24-ranked Polar Bears (3-0-1 overall) return to action on Saturday at Trine (Ind.) at 1 p.m.
