Levi King, Becky Moss named Polar Bear of the Month winners for October

ADA — Fifth-year senior Levi King (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central) and senior Becky Moss (Lebanon/Mount Notre Dame) have been selected as the Ohio Northern athletic department's Polar Bear of the Month award winners for October.
King, a midfielder and team captain for the men's soccer team, recorded six goals and seven assists to lead the Polar Bears to an 8-0-1 record in October. He closed the regular season having recorded at least one point in all nine of the team's conference games as the Polar Bears clinched the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season championship.
King currently ranks seventh all-time in career goals (39) and sixth all-time in career points (106) and assists (28).
The Polar Bears are ranked No. 11 nationally in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll and enter the postseason riding a seven-game win streak and 15-game unbeaten streak.
Moss, a goalkeeper for the women's soccer team, has played the entirety of the Polar Bears' 17 games this season and posted a 7-0-2 record with seven shutouts in October. She closed the regular season with six straight shutouts as the Polar Bears earned a share of the OAC Regular Season title.
The team enters the postseason riding a six-game win streak and 11-game unbeaten streak and sits just outside the top 25 in the United Soccer Coaches poll.
Overall, Moss boasts an OAC-high 12 shutouts on the season to go with 30 saves, a .789 save percentage and 0.47 GAA. She leads the OAC in GAA and ranks third in save percentage.
Moss is currently tied for third all-time at ONU in single-season shutouts and ranks ninth all-time with 12 career shutouts.
