Junior Matt Kinkopf named OAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern junior Matt Kinkopf has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 7-13.
Kinkopf led the Polar Bears (4-2 overall) to a 2-1 week, helping ONU defeat Wittenberg 2-1 and Thiel, Pa. 9-0.
The junior recorded his first career hat trick in the first half of the Thiel, Pa. victory, while also adding one assist.
Kinkopf also scored the game winning goal in the 49th minute to lift the Polar Bears past Wittenberg.
Ohio Northern returns to action Wednesday as they welcome Ohio Wesleyan to Kerscher Stadium.
