Men's Soccer to open 2015 season on Sept. 1 at Olivet

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's soccer team will open the 2015 season on Sept. 1 by traveling to Michigan to take on Olivet College under 18th-year head coach Brent Ridenour.
The Polar Bears will then compete against Wheaton (Ma.) on Sept. 5 and Babson (Ma.) on Sept. 6 before returning home to take on Wittenberg on Sept. 9.
Ohio Northern will once again be hosting the ONU Invitational Sept. 11-13.
ONU will be taking on Thiel at 7:30 pm on day one of the invitational, followed by Brockport on Sept. 12 at 7:30 pm.
Other non-conference match-ups this season include Ohio Wesleyan, Case Western, Defiance, Anderson (Ind.), and Manchester (Ind.).
The Ohio Athletic Conference portion of the schedule begins on Oct. 3, when Ohio Northern welcomes John Carroll to Kerscher Stadium for a night game.
The Polar Bears then travel to Wilmington on Oct. 6, before returning home for a two game home stretch.
During the home stretch ONU will take on Mount Union on Oct. 10 and Otterbein on Oct. 14.
The Polar Bears conclude its regular season on Oct. 31 at 3:30 pm, as they travel to Marietta.
The OAC Tournament will begin on Nov. 3 and will conclude on Nov. 7, with the winner earning an automatic bid to the NCAA III Tournament.
Under head coach Brent Ridenour, the Polar Bears finished the 2014 season with an 12-8-1 record and 5-3-1 mark in the OAC.
