Senior Ian Roy selected to play in USILA Senior All-Star Game

ADA - Ohio Northern senior Ian Roy (Grand Rapids, Mich./Forest Hills Northern) has been selected to play in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Senior All-Star game on Friday, May 23 at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I.
Roy joins Mitch Groves as the only two players from Ohio Northern to play in the annual event.
The Division III game will be at 4 p.m. and the Division I/II game will follow at 6:30 p.m.
Roy was named Second Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference this season and is a three-time Academic All-OAC honoree.
Roy started 19 of 21 games this season and had 15 goals and 18 assists for 33 points. He also had 11 ground balls.
In his career, he has 57 points on 28 goals and 29 assists along with 35 ground balls and five caused turnovers.
The Polar Bears posted a 16-5 overall record in 2025, breaking the record for most wins in a season. ONU was second in the OAC with an 8-1 league record and won the program's first OAC Tournament en route to its first NCAA Tournament appearance.
