Sophomore Andrew Slusher named OAC Men's Golfer of the Week

ADA — Sophomore Andrew Slusher (Covington) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for his efforts in ONU's victory at the Lourdes Gray Wolf Invitational on Monday.

Slusher won Medalist honors as he finished first out of 36 golfers with a 6-over par 78 on the 6,811-yard course.

The Polar Bears (14-14 overall) won the 5-team tournament with a 325 for 18 holes.

This marks the second time this Fall that an ONU player has won the award, as freshman Josh Steyer (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) was honored on Sept. 9.

The Polar Bears will wrap up its Fall schedule on Saturday at the Defiance Fall Invitational.
