Men's Golf finishes sixth of 9 at Bluffton Fall Classic

FINDLAY — The Ohio Northern men's golf team finished sixth of nine teams at the Bluffton Fall Classic Saturday at Bluffton Golf Club and Sunday at Hidden Creek Golf Club.
The Polar Bears (7-15) finished with a 314-300—614 for the 36 holes, and were just 11 strokes off the lead.
Senior Joshua Turich (Centerville) led ONU with a 5-over par 76-73-149 to finish seventh of 52 golfers.
Freshman Nolan Kimberly (Zanesville) tied for 11th with a 78-75—153, senior David Gorman (Columbus/Worthington Kilbourne) tied for 13th with a 77-77—154, senior Nick Anderson (Mason) tied for 23rd with an 83-75—158 and freshman Andrew Slusher (Covington) tied for 29th with an 83-79—162.
Capital's Logan Holbrook won Medalist honors with a 2-under par 67-75—142.
Heidelberg edged Capital 603-606 for the team title.
The Polar Bears will return to action Oct. 5-6 when they host the OAC Fall Preview at Colonial Golfers Club.
