Senior Blaine Ricketts named OAC Men's Golfer of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Blaine Ricketts (Belle Center/Ben Logan) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the week of April 18-24.

Ricketts finished second out of 73 golfers with a 5-over par 145 to lead the Polar Bears to a come from behind victory at the 11-team Defiance Spring Invitational last weekend.

This season, Ricketts is tied for second on the team with a 76.8 average.

He is a returning All-Conference honoree after finishing 10th at the 2016 OAC Championships and has a career 77.7 average for 77 rounds.

The Polar Bears will return to action Friday-Sunday at the 72-hole OAC Championships tournament at River Greens Golf Club in West Lafayette, Ohio.
