Senior Tyler Davis leads Men's Golf at Defiance Fall Invitational

ADA -- Senior Tyler Davis (Liberty Center/Liberty Center) finished tied for 14th to lead the Ohio Northern men's golf team, as they competed at the Defiance Fall Invitational Sunday afternoon.

The Polars Bears improve 22-15-1 overall.

NAIA-member Madonna (Mich.) took first place, USCAA-member Cleary (Mich.) finished second, while area-rival Defiance posted a third place finish.

Northern finished sixth of 12 teams for its fourth upper division finish of the year.

Davis led Ohio Northern with a 7-over par 77, finished in the top-20 for the second time this season.

Junior Zach Goodchild (Pickerington/North) and senior Blaine Ricketts (Belle Center/Ben Logan) posted a top-30 finishes for the Polar Bears.

Goodchild finished tied for 22nd with a round of 78, while Ricketts posted a round of 79 and finished tied for 28th.

The Polar Bears will return to action Saturday and Sunday as they travel to Tiffin to compete in the Tiffin Fall Invitational at Mohawk Country Club.
