Men's Bowling qualifies for USBC ITC Sectionals for second consecutive season

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's bowling team has qualified for the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championships Sectionals for the second consecutive season.
The top 80 teams across the nation will compete in one of four 20-team sectionals, with the top four teams in each sectional advancing to the ITC Finals April 13-18 in Green Bay, Wis.
ONU will compete in the Addison Sectional in Addison, Ill. March 14-15.
The 20 teams at the Addison Sectional will bowl 64 baker games over the two days to determine the four advancing teams.
Northern finished the season ranked No. 53 nationally, an improvement of 29 spots from a year ago.
Ohio Northern finished 17th of 20 teams at the sectionals a year ago in Allen Park, Mich.
The Polar Bear women's team improved 20 positions in its national ranking from last season, moving up to 113th from 133rd.
ONU is led by third-year head coach Jeff Robinson.
