Men's Bowling has another record-setting day in fifth place finish at American Heartland Bowling Association I tournament

CANTON, Mich. — The Ohio Northern men's bowling team set single game and 6-game series school records, rallying for a fifth place finish at the American Heartland Bowling Association I tournament on Saturday.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern was 5th of 20 teams with a school record 5,812 pins for six regular games.
- Venue: Super Bowl Lanes - Canton, Mich.
- The tournament consisted of 6 games.
- Cleary (Mich.) won the team title with 6280 pins, Lawrence Tech (Mich.) was second with 6259 pins and Olivet (Mich.) was third with 6178 pins.

- Sophomore Zander Crouch (DeGraff/Riverside) led the Polar Bears by finishing 26th overall with a 6-game score of 1180 - an average of 196.7 pins per game.
- He rolled games of 228, 223 and 202 pins on the day.
- Sophomore Giovanni Scanio (Corpus Christi, Tex./London) rolled a 1175 with games of 214 and 201.
- Sophomore Sam King (DeGraff/Riverside) had a 1001 for five games with a high of 256.
- Sophomore Jake Manbevers (Greenfield/Miami Trace) rolled a team-leading 267 in the sixth game.
