Bowling finishes 17th of 20 at ITC Sectional Qualifier

ALLEN PARK, Mich. — The Ohio Northern men's bowling team finished in 17th place out of 20 teams after the final day of the United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate Team Championships Sectional Qualifier on Sunday.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern was 17th of 20 teams with 11712 pins for 64 baker games.
- Venue: Thunderbowl Lanes - Allen Park, Mich.
ONU Individuals
- The tournament consisted of 64 baker games, therefore no individual scores were posted.
- The teams bowled 32 baker games on Saturday and finished with 32 baker games on Sunday.
- Each day was broken up into two, 16-game blocks with a break in between.
Notables
- The Polar Bears qualified for the Sectionals in just their second year as a varsity program.
- ONU averaged 183.0 pins per game.
- Ohio Northern knocked down 2828 pins in the final 16 baker game block on Sunday afternoon.

- Muskingum won the team title with 13224 pins, Pikeville (Ky.) was second with 13023 pins and Marian (Ind.) was third with 12776 pins.
