Men's Basketball wraps up Italy trip with 3-0 record

ITALY - The Ohio Northern men's basketball team finished up its Italian tour with a 3-0 record.

On Sunday, the Polar Bears defeated Stella Azzura 66-49 in Rome.

ONU was down 32-29 at the half but used two big second half runs to secure the victory, to finish 3-0 on the week.

The Polar Bears were led by Theo Maag with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Carter Reese 11 points, 8 during a key second half run.

Jadi Cunningham, Jr. chipped in 8 points and team-highs of 8 rebounds & 6 assists. Will Miller led the Bears defense with 5 steals.

On Friday, the Ohio Northern men's basketball team won its 2nd game of their Italian tour on Friday defeating the Pino Dragons 71-62.

ONU was led by JD Kendall with 16 points & 5 rebounds. Will Miller added 14 points and 4 rebounds.

Gavin Etzler had 11 points and a game high 5 steals while Blake Michael led ONU with 6 rebounds and 5 assists. 

The Polar Bears return to the states on Tuesday.
