The Polar Bears will face host Buffalo State (0-1) at 7:30 pm Friday night ... In Friday night's first game, John Carroll (2-0) and Medaliie (N.Y.) (1-1) will play at 5:30 pm ... Junior Landen Long (Mason) scored a career-high 35 points, but it was his 3-pointer just ahead of the buzzer that was the difference as the Ohio Northern men's basketball team won 87-85 at Manchester (Ind.) on Tuesday night ... Northern led 84-82 but the hosts got a 3-point play on a driving layup by Quentez Columbus with three second left in the game to go ahead 85-84 ... Undeterred, Long took the inbounds pass and dribbled to the 3-point line where his 22-footer banked in just ahead of the buzzer for the game-winner ... Junior Adam Scott scored a career-high 19 points, junior C.J. Napier added 15 points and freshman Ethan Bell chipped in 10 points for ONU ... Jackson Sartain leads the Blue Streaks ins coring at 35.0 ppg, which includes a career-high 55 points against Keuka ... Medaille is 1-1 after an 87-52 loss to RPI (N.Y.) and an 88-77 win over Cazenovia (N.Y.) at the RPI Tournament Nov. 12-13 ... Rodney Graves leads the Mavericks in scoring at 28.0 ppg.
