Senior Devon Allen named Men's Basketball OAC Player of the Week

ADA — Senior Devon Allen (Lima/Senior) has been named the men's basketball Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 4.

Allen helped Ohio Northern (14-7 overall, 12-2 OAC) to its eighth and ninth straight victories last week.

The senior was on fire from three point range as he hit 13 three pointers in Northern's victories.

Allen tied a season-high and scored a game-high 27 points as Northern defeated Baldwin Wallace.

He followed that performance with a 24-point effort in ONU's 101-96 victory over Muskingum, while shooting a blistering 6-of-9 from the 3-point mark.

Northern will look to keep its winning streak alive Wednesday evening as it welcomes Heidelberg to the ONU Sports Center for a 7 pm tipoff.
