Junior Devon Allen named Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week

ADA — Junior Devon Allen was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his efforts during the week of Nov. 23-29.

The junior led the Polar Bears to a 1-1 week as ONU defeated Defiance 93-83 but fell to Wis.-Whitewater 93-73.

In the contest with Defiance, Allen recorded a game-high nine three pointers leaving him one shy of the individual single game record.

He finished the week with 12 three pointers, shooting an impressive 60% from behind the three point line.

Northern returns to action Wednesday as they open conference play with Otterbein at 7:30 pm.
