Men's Basketball picked to finish fifth in OAC

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team was picked to finish fifth in the 2014-15 OAC Preseason Poll, in voting done by the leagues 10 coaches.
The Polar Bears received 46 points in the poll.
Mount Union was selected as the preseason favorite with 79 points and eight first place votes, Marietta was picked to finish second with 68 points and John Carroll was picked third with 66 points and one first place vote.
The Polar Bears were 16-10 overall and finished fourth in the league with an 12-6 record in the 2013-14 season under second-year head coach Kevin Byrne.
Ohio Northern will open its 2014-15 season Nov. 15-16 at the Milwauke Engineering Tournament against Claremont-M-S at 2 pm.
