Ohio Northern picked seventh in OAC Men's Basketball preseason poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's basketball team was selected to finish seventh in the 2013-14 Ohio Athletic Conference preseason poll in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.
The Polar Bears received 34 points in the poll.
Baldwin Wallace was selected as the preseason favorite with 79 points and eight first place votes, Wilmington was picked to finish second with 67 points and the remaining two first place votes and Mount Union was picked third with 65 points.
The Polar Bears were 13-14 overall and finished seventh in the league with an 8-10 record in 2012-13 under first-year head coach Kevin Byrne.
Ohio Northern will play an exhibition game at Kent State on Friday at 7 pm and will open its 2013-14 season Nov. 22-23 at the Buffalo State (N.Y.) Classic.
