Football receives 27 points in fourth weekly D3Football.com poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern football team received 27 votes in the fourth weekly 2018 D3football.com, released on Sunday.
This marks the 15th time in the last 17 seasons that the Polar Bears have been been mentioned in a national poll.
The 43 points tied for the 27th-most in the poll and leaves ONU just eight points out of the top 25.
The Polar Bears (4-0 overall, 4-0 Ohio Athletic Conference) received 43 points in last week's poll, 25 points in the second weekly poll, 13 points in the first poll and 14 points in the preseason poll.
Ohio Northern joins Mount Union (#1), John Carroll (#15) and Baldwin Wallace (13 points) as OAC schools in the poll.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Marietta for a 1:30 pm kickoff.
