Junior Robbie Reed joins the 100-Hit Club as Baseball posts 13-3 victory over Bluffton

ADA — Junior Robbie Reed (Goshen, Ky./Trinity) joined the 100-Hit Club as the Ohio Northern baseball team picked up its 23rd victory of the season with a 13-3 victory over Bluffton on Monday afternoon.

- Ohio Northern started the day by scoring in 5 straight innings.

- Sophomore Devon Morris (Archbold) answered with a solo homer in the bottom half of the inning to make it 10-2.
- The Beavers struck again in the 7th to make it 10-3.
- Sophomore Kyle Callahan (Brunswick) and Russ each hit an RBI single and Stechschulte knocked in Callahan in the 8th to wrap up the Polar Bears' offensive day at 13-3.
- Nine different Polar Bear hitters notched a hit in the game.
- Senior Blake Altaffer (Monteplier) earned the win (4-3) on the day, throwing 6.0 innings and allowing only 2 runs.
- Stechschulte led the ONU offensive attack, going 4-for-5 at the plate. Russ had 3 RBI to lead the team.
