Peterson and Morris named OAC Baseball Pitcher and Hitter of the Week

ADA – Ohio Northern senior Blake Peterson (Belle Center/Benjamin Logan) and sophomore Devon Morris (Archbold) were named the Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher and Hitter of the Week for the week of March 17-23.

This is both Peterson and Morris's first time receiving the honor in their careers.

Peterson (1-1) pitched 7.0 scoreless innings, only allowing one hit in a 3-0 win over Baldwin Wallace on Saturday.

Morris went 2-for-2, including a solo homer, in a 12-0 win over Asbury (Ky.) on Wednesday. He also led the Polar Bear offense in a 6-3 win over Baldwin Wallace on Saturday, going 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and 4 RBIs.

The Polar Bears (13-5 overall, 2-0 OAC) return to action on Tuesday at Trine (Ind.) (6-10 overall) at 4 p.m.
