Baseball to open 2016 season with annual Spring Break Trip

ADA — The Ohio Northern baseball team will open the 2016 season with the RussMatt BaseballCentral Florida Invitational located around Orlando Fla. on Feb. 28-Mar. 5.
Northern will then return home to Wander Field where they will take on Oberlin in a double header set for noon on Mar. 12.
The Polar Bears will continue with its non-conference portion of the schedule taking on Bluffton, Trine (Ind.) and Defiance.
ONU will close out March with a double header against Ohio Athletic Conference foe Otterbein on the 25th, followed by a match-up with Dension on the 29th and 30th.
Northern will have a challenging April as they welcome OAC opponent John Carroll on the 2nd, followed by non-conference opponent Wittenberg on the 6th.
The Polar Bears enter mid season with key Conference match-ups taking on Mount Union on the 9th, Wilmington on the 13th and Muskingum on the 16th.
Northern will then take on OAC opponents Baldwin Wallace on April 19, Heidelberg on April 23 and Capital on April 30.
The Polar Bears will conclude the season May 7 with OAC foe Marietta.
