Myles Johnson, Avery Baker-Schlendering named Ohio Northern's Polar Bears of the Month for February

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomores Myles Johnson (Springboro) and Avery Baker-Schlendering (Freeport, Maine) were named Ohio Northern's Polar Bears of the Month for the month of February.
Baker-Schlendering was also named Polar Bear of the Month for the month of January.
Baker-Schlendering broke her own school record in the high jump twice during the month, as well as the Ohio Athletic Conference record.
She cleared the ONU and OAC record height of 1.79 meters on Feb. 28 at the OAC Championships.
Baker-Schlendering now ranks second in Division III in the high jump this season.
Johnson qualified for Nationals in wrestling at 197 pounds, going 4-0 with two pins at the NCAA III Regional IV Championships. He was also named the Tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler.
He also won by decision over the No. 1-ranked wrestler in the nation at Baldwin Wallace on Feb. 12.
Johnson is ranked No. 13 nationally by the NWCA and was also named the OAC Wrestler of the Year.
