Will Miller, Avery Baker-Schlendering named Ohio Northern's Polar Bears of the Month for January

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Will Miller (Ottoville) and sophomore Avery Baker-Schlendering (Freeport, Maine) were named Ohio Northern's Polar Bears of the Month for the month of January.
Baker-Schlendering broke the school record in the high jump and won the event in all three meets in January.
She cleared a career-best 1.72 meters at Hillsdale College's Wide Track Classic on Jan. 23. She broke the previous high jump record of 1.70 meters set by Sara McGinnis in 2006.
Miller led the Polar Bears in scoring in five of their eight games in January and was second in scoring in the other three games.
On Jan. 7, Miller posted his first career double-double with 27 points and 11 rebounds in an 86-82 comeback win over Heidelberg.
Miller now ranks 25th all-time at ONU with 1,185 points in 94 career games. He is also 10th in ONU history with 154 steals.
