Ohio Northern celebrates Black History Month: Mark Gooden

Mark Gooden was a standout basketball player for Ohio Northern from 1990-93 and served as a team captain on ONU's 1992-93 NCAA Division III National Championship squad.
He was inducted into the Ohio Northern Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006.
Gooden was a two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree and was named the OAC Player of the Year in 1993.
He led the Polar Bears in scoring as a junior and a senior, averaging 18.0 points and 3.4 assists per game that season.
Gooden currently ranks 13th all-time in ONU history in scoring with 1,346 points and is 15th with 271 assists in his career.
