HOLLAND, Mich. — The Ohio Northern men's tennis team got its 2015 season underway with a 7-2 loss at Hope (Mich.) on Saturday afternoon at Hope's DeWitt Tennis Center.
The Polar Bears fall to 0-1, while the Flying Dutchmen improve to 1-1.
Junior John Mostowy had a hand on both of Ohio Northern's wins on the day.
He posted a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles and combined with senior Sam Prewitt to win 8-5 at No. 1 doubles.
The Polar Bears will play again at the DeWitt Center on Sunday when they face Luther (Iowa) at 9 am.
