This Weekend's Preview: The Ohio Northern wrestling team will wrap up its regular season this weekend with its final OAC dual meet on Friday night at No. 7-ranked Baldwin Wallace and at the Mid-States Invitational at Alma (Mich.) on Saturday ... Northern will send eight wrestlers to BW, forfeiting the 125 and 133-pound weight classes ... On Saturday, a primarily JV group of wrestlers will compete at the Mid-States Invitational, which is an individual double-elimination tournament featuring the 10 standard 10 NCAA weight classes ... Thus far this season, No. 19-ranked senior Clayton Davidson leads the Polar Bears with a 27-7 record and seven pins ... Sophomore Jeff Andrews is second with a 23-9 record at 149 pounds and sophomore Cash Thompson is third with an 18-6 record at 184 pounds.

Head Coach Ron Beaschler: Beaschler is in his 31st season at the helm of the Ohio Northern wrestling program and currently stands as the longest-tenured head wrestling coach at the institution ... He sports a 324-232-4 career coaching record in dual action, a winning percentage of .582, making him the all-time winningest coach in program history ... Beaschler was inducted into the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Hall of Fame in 2008 and has been named OAC Coach of the Year three times in 1993, 2012, and 2013.
