Freshman Lydia Cranmer named OAC Women's Golfer of the Week for the second time this season

ADA — Ohio Northern freshman Lydia Cranmer (Farmington Hills, Mich.Ladywood) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the week of Sept. 12-18.

Cranmer led the Polar Bears (14-3 overall) to a third place finish at the 13-team Heidelberg Fall Invitational on Saturday-Sunday at Mohawk Country Club.

She fired a career-low 75 in the final round and claimed Medalist honors with an 80-75—155 to lead Ohio Northern.

This marks the second time this season that Cranmer has won the award, as she was also honored on Sept. 5.

Thus far this season, Cranmer leads the Polar Bears with an 82.0 average for six rounds.

The Polar Bears will wrap up their Fall season Oct. 7-8 at the Wittenberg Fall Invitational.
