Jackie (Mangola) price is in her second season at the helm of the Ohio Northern softball team.
She led Northern to a 25-13 record in 2017 and a fifth place finish in the conference standings.
Mangola returns to her alma mater after a 2-year stint as head coach at Hiram, where she guided the Terriers to 21 victories as head coach.
She also served as an assistant coach in stops at John Carroll and Muskingum after her graduation from ONU with a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education in 2012.
Mangola was a two-time All-American, two-time Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Year, a 3-time First Team All-OAC honoree and was Ohio Northern's Clyde Lamb Award winner during her time at ONU.
Mangola is Northern's all-time home run leader with 45 in her career, including a school record 21 in her junior year.
She is also second all-time in RBI (179), is third in runs scored (172), is fourth in hits (222), walks (79) and slugging percentage (.735).
Her .392 career batting average is eighth-best all-time for the Polar Bears.
Mangola is the sixth head coach in the 49-year history of the program.
She is the younger sister of current ONU assistant softball coach Tina (Mangola) Martinez.
Mangola currently resides in Findlay with her husband, David Price, who is an assistant football coach at Ohio Northern.

Former ONU All-American Tina (Mangola) Martinez is in her third season overall as an assistant softball coach at Ohio Northern University after returning to the role in the fall of 2016.
She is in her second stint as an assistant coach at ONU after being on the staff for the 2012 season, when the Polar Bears made their a trip to the College World Series. She is the only person in ONU history to participate in the College World Series both as a coach and player.
Martinez returns to her alma mater after two years as a high school and middle school teacher in Florida.
She was the head softball coach at Transylvania (Ky.) in 2014, posting a 14-24 record, which was an improvement from the Pioneers' 2013 season.
Martinez was a two-time All-American, a 3-time First Team All-OAC honoree and was a 4-time All-OAC honoree as a Polar Bear.
She currently ranks third all-time at ONU with 38 career home runs, is third with 169 RBI, is sixth with a .414 career batting average and is fifth with 217 base hits from 2007-10.
As a freshman in 2007, Martinez was was the triple crown winner in the OAC, leading the league in home runs (12), RBI (49) and batting average (.489).
She is married to Brandon Martinez and has a daughter, Mila, who is 15 months old.

Les Bowman is in his 16th season as an assistant coach at Ohio Northern.
He helps with pre-game preperation and pitching pre-game soft toss.
Les is also an equipment guru for the softball program.
Bowman is a long-time youth softball coach in the Findlay area, and has developed dozens of outstanding pitchers over the years.
He resides in Findlay.
