ADA — Ohio Northern senior Jackson Pfister (Upper Arlington) has been named a USILA/Warrior and New Balance Scholar All-American in men's lacrosse for 2019 by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
Pfister is the first ONU student/athlete to receive the award, which was given to 75 players from around the country, and graduated with his bachleor's degree in pharmaceutical and healthcare business in May.
He was a four-year starter on defense, a three-time Academic All-OAC honoree and a two-time All-Conference award winner.
Pfister ended his career as ONU's all-time leader in ground balls with 141 and is second in caused turnovers with 75.
Ohio Northern posted a 13-5 overall record and finished third in the OAC with a 6-3 league record in 2019. With the No. 3 seed in the OAC Tournament, the Polar Bears reached the program's first OAC championship game under fourth-year head coach Nat St. Laurent.
